According to a published report, a man was found dead in a car of a gunshot wound at a Clifton gas station Saturday afternoon.

The Daily Voice reports that the discovery was made at the busy BP gas station on Route 3.

Authorities did not confirm details with News 12. However, the investigation appeared to center around a black sedan that was covered with a white sheet.

Officers and investigators with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office were at the BP station for most of the day.
