Police release surveillance video of suspect wanted for killing man at Williamsburg restaurant

Officers say the man seen in the surveillance video is wanted for stabbing the victim in the neck.

Police have released new photos and video of the person wanted for killing another man at a Williamsburg restaurant.
According to the NYPD, 61-year-old Laurence Hopkins was stabbed to death on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Garden Bar & Grill on Graham Avenue. They responded to a call for an assault at 1 a.m. When they arrived, the assault turned deadly.
Officers say the man seen in the surveillance video is wanted for stabbing Hopkins in the neck. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he did not survive.
When asked about what led up to this attack, police could not provide any details. It's also not clear if Hopkins knew the man who took his life.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
