Paterson police say a man was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison for manslaughter.
They say Ferreie Johnson was part of a shootout on Ellison Street, near the D'Classico Lounge in 2018.
The gunfight ended with Johnson fatally shooting Parker Sams, who was just an innocent bystander.
Johnson must complete 85% of his sentence to get parole.
