Law enforcement officials are searching for a Pennsylvania woman they say moved to New Jersey and left her child home alone for a month in a house without any heat or running water.
Authorities say they are looking for 45-year-old Tiffani Chanel Bogroff, of Lancaster County. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Officials say the child told police that Bogroff moved to Pennsville to live with her boyfriend and left the child in Pennsylvania. Officials say that the home was cluttered with trash and rotten food. The child was also left to care for three pets, officials say.
The victim also told police that sometimes they went to school but also found it difficult to wake up in the morning.
Police would not confirm the age or gender of the child.
Anyone who might have information about Bogroff should call the Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401.
