A Pennsylvania woman accused of moving to New Jersey and leaving her child alone for a month in a house with no heat or running water was taken into custody, according to Manheim Township Sgt. Barry Waltz.

Authorities say 45-year-old Tiffani Chanel Bogroff, of Lancaster, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

They say the child told police that Bogroff moved to Pennsville, Salem County, to live with her boyfriend. Officials say the home was cluttered with trash and rotten food.

Bogroff has not been arraigned yet, according to Waltz. Police would not confirm the age or gender of the child. Waltz says authorities do not release information on juvenile victims.
