An Atlantic City woman is accused of physically abusing her 6-year-old daughter, including pouring liquid spice used for cooking on the girl’s genitals.

An Atlantic City woman is accused of physically abusing her 6-year-old daughter, including pouring liquid spice used for cooking on the girl’s genitals.
Police say that the girl reported the abuse to her teacher, who then reported it to authorities.
Aminata Toure, 41, also allegedly punched the girl.
The child was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Toure was charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault. She is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
