A man in Wildwood is accused of stealing metal from a boardwalk attraction.

Police said 67‑year‑old William Morelli spent several days removing a large amount of metal from Adventure Pier. He then sold the metal to a scrap yard for cash, according to police.

Morelli was charged with theft earlier this month and released on a summons.
