Police in New Brunswick are probing another incident near Rutgers University after they say three men robbed another at gunpoint.
The incident happened Sunday around 1:20 a.m. near the intersection of Richardson Street and Wyckoff Street.
According to police, the victim, who is affiliated with the university, says he was approached by the men, who displayed a handgun and took several items of value through force.
Police say the victim was not physically injured during the incident. The men ran on foot in the direction of College Avenue. The descriptions of the perpetrators are limited at this time. It is unclear how the victim is affiliated with the university. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NBPD Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.
