Police say that a woman was walking along Easton Avenue between Bristol and Prosper streets when a man in a red pickup truck pulled up next to her, pointed a gun at her and demanded that she get inside.
The woman ran away and was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s or early 40s. He was driving a red, four-door pickup truck, possibly a Honda Ridgeline.
Police warn that anyone who may see this truck should not approach the man but should call 9-1-1 or the New Brunswick Police Department at 732-745-5200.
