A Monmouth Junction man has been accused of firing a gun near an East Brunswick apartment building.

Authorities say that Kyle Johnson fired off a gun at the Taylor Garden Apartments Tuesday afternoon. No one was hit.

Police say that Johnson then drove off in a blue-green Dodge Magnum. He was eventually arrested in Absecon by the Absecon Police Department.

Johnson was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Police say that this appears to be a random act.
