Police: Man dies during fireworks explosion in Jersey City

A man in Jersey City died in a fireworks explosion Saturday, police say.

A man in Jersey City died in a fireworks explosion Saturday, police say.
They say it happened at around 1 a.m. outside the Booker T. Washington public housing complex.
Jersey City police could not revive the man, who was found bleeding badly.
Explosives are aerial items are illegal in the state.
