Police say they have arrested the man accused of vandalizing three Catholic churches on the same day - within the span of an hour – in Camden and Gloucester counties.
Peter Sirolli is accused of setting a 10-foot cross on fire on the lawn of a church in Woodbury.
Police say he then went to another church in Runnemede and threw a rock at the parish.
Sirolli is also accused of setting the flagpole on fire at a church in Blackwood after throwing a rock through a window, according to police.
Police say a witness followed Sirolli, and he was arrested at a church on Good Intent Road in Deptford.
When Sirolli was taken into custody, police say they found a gas can and bricks in the open bed of his truck.
He's charged with bias intimidation and several weapons offenses.
