Police: Lakewood carjacking suspect struck person with car before stabbing another

Police say a violent crime spree ended with a man in jail facing attempted murder and bias intimidation charges.
According to authorities, Dion Marsh carjacked a driver in Lakewood, hit another person in town with that car, then later stabbed a man.
They say the victims are in critical, but stable condition.
Surveillance video shows a car speeding around a turn with the alleged suspect hanging off the side of the car he tried to steal, as the driver speeds away.
In a statement, the Anti-Defamation League said it was, "Saddened and outraged by a series of attacks that occurred in Lakewood and Jackson, which culminated in the stabbing of an Orthodox Jewish man."
On Twitter, Gov. Phil Murphy said, "The safety of our communities, and notably our communities of faith, is not only a paramount concern but among my highest priorities. We will continue to partner with all who share this commitment so no resident ever needs to live in fear."
