The Paramus Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in the town.
Police have not released many details but say that officers are interviewing the victim.
The robbery happened in the parking lot of a shopping center off Route 17 around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey that there were a lot of police cars in the parking lot following the incident.
The robbery is similar to one that happened in Newark on July 3. In that incident, two men forced a woman into a van and made her withdraw $9,000 from a bank.
It was not clear if the two cases are related.
Anyone who might have information about either case is urged to contact the police.
