Police in Fort Lee say an infant has been hospitalized after she was struck by a car while in a stroller being pushed by her mother.
The accident happened Wednesday around 7:30 a.m. on Main Street, near Gerome Avenue.
According to police, the driver of a Honda Civic was heading east on the street when he struck the stroller.
Police say the impact caused the stroller, and the baby, to fall over.
She was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.
No charges have been filed against the 48-year-old driver from Edgewater.
Police say sun glare could be a possible cause.
