Police: Husband and wife stole jewelry from Bridgewater retirement facility

Police say the thefts happened from May 2023 until February 2024. The items were worth about $45,000.

A husband-and-wife duo from Piscataway are accused of stealing from a retirement home in Bridgewater.
Police say Ana Rios – who works as a housekeeper at the facility – took jewelry from residents. Officials say the husband, Ezequiel Rios, then sold the jewelry.
Police say the thefts happened from May 2023 until February 2024.
The stolen jewelry is worth about $45,000, according to officials.
