A 10-year-old girl who went missing from Newport Centre mall last week has been found safe, according to Jersey City officials.

Surveillance video showed Divine Anwanyu walking toward Newport Parkway with a male on Thursday evening. This sparked a major search around the city to find the girl.

Jersey City officials say that Anwanyu was found around 1 p.m. on Monday, thanks to a citizen's tip. They say that she was found at the Salem-Lafayette apartment complex in good health.

Further details about the girl’s disappearance were not provided.

Officials say that EMTs were dispatched to check on Anwanyu as a precaution.
