A Galloway woman accused of hoarding over 50 animals inside her home has been charged with animal cruelty.
Police say Diane Haytas kept the animals in inhumane and unsanitary conditions.
During a sweep of the house, police say they found several dead birds on the floor.
The animals were taken to a veterinarian to be evaluated, according to authorities.
