Police have found a body believed to be that of an Oradell man missing since Aug. 13.

Oradell police confirm that a body was found near Soldier Hill and Kinderkamack roads, not far from where 57-year-old Mark Schlegel went missing.

Officials did not say how the person died. An autopsy is expected to be performed.

Investigators were out for most of Thursday looking for Schlegel with search dogs.

Schlegel told his family that he was going for a walk. He did not have his wallet, cellphone or keys with him when he left the house.

Police say that a neighbor saw Schlegel walking near his home, but no one has seen him since.

Authorities say that there were no signs of foul play and that Schlegel did not appear to be suffering from any health-related issues.

Schlegel is married and has two adult children. He is a talent agent in New York City.
