Authorities say an explosive was thrown and detonated by an individual inside a truck in Lakewood.

The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Squankum Road and Shafto Road, according to police.

Authorities say a nearby home surveillance system caught two pickup trucks traveling south on Squankum Road before stopping in a wooded area. After a pause, the footage showed a lit object being thrown from inside one of the trucks and then detonating in the wooded area.

Police say no one was injured in the incident. However, authorities are still conducting an investigation.
