2ds agoPort Authority officials say they are cracking down on "ghost tags,” the nickname for fake license plates and tags being used to avoid paying tolls.
So far, police say they've issued hundreds of fines and confiscated plates from dozens of cars at the Lincoln Tunnel, Triborough Bridge and the George Washington Bridge.
