Wayne police are asking for the public’s help identifying a thief who stole a large amount of jewelry and coins from a family’s home.
Police have released security video of the man who broke into a home on the 100 block of Webster Drive Saturday night. Police say he broke into the home between 7 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.
The suspect was inside the house for about 10 minutes before he escaped, according to police.
Wayne police say that they want to identify the man so they can “stop more families from being victimized.”
Anyone who may recognize him or who has any information about the crime is asked to call Wayne police at 973-633-3530.
