A Bridgeport man who is accused of committing two shootings hours apart earlier this month has been arrested, police say.
Justin Morales has been charged with criminal attempt to commit assault, criminal possession of a firearm and illegal discharge of a firearm. Police say Morales is a convicted felon who has a history of firearm arrests.
Police say the shootings happened on the city's east side on Aug. 1 near the intersection of Boston and Seaview avenues. No one was injured during the incidents.
Morales was taken into custody on Aug. 12, when police executed a search warrant and found a loaded revolver.
Detectives will conduct ballistic testing to determine if the gun was used in any other crimes.
