Police: Bayonne man threw rock and knife at victims, spat on Muslim woman

A Bayonne man is facing charges for allegedly attacking several people Tuesday morning and harassing a Muslim woman.
Officials say Bayonne police officers were called to the area of 12th Street and Broadway for the incident around 7:30 a.m. They say Moustafa Nossier threw a rock at one victim and threatened him with a knife. Nossier then allegedly threw a 12-inch kitchen knife at another victim. He then allegedly spit on a police officer as he was taken into custody.
Police also said earlier that day, Nossier walked up to a woman, spit on her and said “[Expletive] Muslim.”
Nossier faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and bias intimidation.
