Police: Arrest made in shooting death of Spring Valley man in the Bronx

A Bronx man has been arrested in shooting death of a Spring Valley man who was trying to buy a motorcycle last week.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of shots fired at East 144th Street and Exterior Street last Wednesday afternoon.
When officers arrived, they found Jefferson Hernandez, 20, with a gunshot wound to the head. Hernandez was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A firearm was recovered on the scene.
Police later arrested Manuel Reyes, 23, of the Bronx, and charged him with numerous crimes, including murder.
Investigators say Hernandez was one of three men who went to purchase two motorcycles in a transaction that was arranged on Facebook.
