Police announce arrest in shooting outside NJ Weedman's Joint in Trenton

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside NJ Weedman’s Joint Restaurant in Trenton that injured three people earlier this month.
Trenton police said Quashawn Emanuel, 27, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and several weapons offenses.
Police said the shooting happened around 4:10 a.m. May 10 at 322 East State St., the location of NJ Weedman ’s Joint Restaurant. Two women and a man, all identified by police as being in their 30s, later arrived at Capital Health Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

Investigators identified Emanuel as the suspect, and warrants were issued for his arrest, police said.
The U.S. Marshals Service took Emanuel into custody May 22 in Vineland, according to police.
Emanuel has also been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and certain persons not to possess a firearm.
