Police in Toms River say four people have been charged with stealing more than $9,000 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Beauty store at the Ocean County Mall.
The incident happened Tuesday around 1:20 p.m. at the store located at 1203 Hooper Ave.
According to police, the four, who are from the Bronx and Brooklyn, are between the ages of 17 and 24.
Police say by the time they arrived at the store, the four took off.
The 22-year-old, identified as Frank Greene, of the Bronx, was found shortly after that. The other two female suspects, identified as Shaquana John, 24, of Brooklyn, and Sereniti Butler, 20, of the Bronx, were found hiding in the woods nearby. The teenager went into a house and refused to come out, instead running through a back door, where two officers were waiting.
All four were taken into custody, and are facing multiple charges.
