The Rutgers Police Department is probing a home
invasion in which it says two people wearing ski masks ransacked a home in New Brunswick.
The incident happened Friday around 11:55 p.m. near
the intersection of Hamilton and Louis streets.
According to police, the two people made off with
some personal property. Police say the masked invaders knocked on the door,
waited for the victims to open it and forced their way into the home.
Police say four people, including three that are
affiliated with the university, were home at the time.
Police say the invaders
threatened the residents, but no injuries were reported.
The New Brunswick Police Department asks anyone with
information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact its Detective
