Two Bergen County men are accused of vandalizing a car with a Palestinian flag on it. The pair are now facing bias intimidation charges.
Police say 44-year-old Yaniv Cohen, of Tenafly and 49-year-old Ofer Sharon, of Cresskill allegedly scratched the car using their keys. The car was parked in the parking lot of Tenafly Borough Hall. The pair allegedly scratched the truck of the car and also scratched a Star of David into the hood.
They also allegedly put flyers on the victim’s car related to the war between Israel and Hamas.
Police say the men also harassed the owner of the car while he was at a youth soccer game at a park across the street.
