Two people who are already facing charges related to a carjacking in Englishtown are now facing additional charges for a separate carjacking crime.
Authorities say Hazma Williams and Raya Durant were charged with criminal attempt to commit carjacking and conspiracy to commit carjacking for an incident that happened on Forsgate Drive in Jamesburg.
Williams, Durant and a third person were already being held at the Monmouth County Jail after they allegedly carjacked a woman who was parked in a Walgreens parking lot in Englishtown waiting for roadside assistance due to a flat tire.
Authorities say those three suspects stole the car with the flat tire and then had to pull into a parking lot half a mile away. This is where police caught and arrested them.
