Police: 15-year-old used hammer to break into Express Mart, steal e-cigarettes

A 15-year-old boy from Washington Township has been charged in connection with a burglary at an Express Mart in Hackettstown.

A 15-year-old boy from Washington Township has been charged in connection with a burglary at an Express Mart in Hackettstown.
The burglary happened back on Jan. 3 around 2:16 a.m. at the location at 321 Mountain Ave.
According to police, the suspect was captured on surveillance video using a hammer to break in. Police say he got away with electronic cigarettes.
The teen has been charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft. He was released pending a court appearance.
