You might consider a plumber to be a hero when they fix a leaking pipe in your home.
But Wednesday afternoon in Wallington, a plumber also saved a person's life from a burning home, according to police.
Robert Decker, who is also a 20-year firefighting veteran, was working his full-time job at Wallington Plumbing Supply when he saw smoke and flames in a home nearby.
He rushed to the home, ran inside and carried an adult out to safety.
No word on the adult's name or condition at this time or how the fire started.
The town's mayor says that all are incredibly proud.
