A New Jersey company is bringing business visions to life through custom furniture built right in Hamilton.
In this week’s Made in New Jersey, News 12’s Jack Ford takes a closer look inside Modern Line Furniture.
The company specializes in creating commercial furniture for a wide range of industries, from restaurants and hotels to entertainment venues and educational spaces.
“We specialize in furniture for military, education, restaurant, hospitality groups… any kind of business,” said Yana Katliarova of Modern Line Furniture.
The company works directly with clients to design and build custom pieces, including chairs, booths and tables tailored to each space.
Officials say durability is key, since the furniture is meant to handle heavy daily use.
“We use top… natural materials, the best pliability… the hardest density foam,” Katliarova said.
More than 99% of the materials used come from the United States and Canada.
Each piece is built locally by about 50 employees, starting in the woodshop where materials are cut and assembled before moving to sewing and upholstery.
Workers say attention to detail is critical throughout the process.
“Made in the U.S., perfect quality, happy customers and fast turnaround time,” Katliarova said.
