More than 90 people have been displaced by an apartment building fire in Plainfield, the Red Cross says.
A spokesperson says it happened at 24-unit apartment building located at 308 W Front St just after 1 a.m.
Residents tell News 12 they woke up to the smell of smoke and started running to get out.
The fire appears to have caused interior damage to the building along with several broken windows.
A team of disaster responders from the Red Cross were called to help provide shelter for those impacted.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started or if there were any injuries.
