An outbreak of respiratory viruses is prompting major pharmacies to limit the number of children's medications they sell to customers.
Finding children's cold medications has become increasingly difficult due to both supply-chain issues and what experts are calling a "tripledemic" of flu, RSV and COVID-19 cases.
Walgreens is now limiting its over-the-counter purchases to six items per customer.
Pharmacists at CVS will only be allowed to sell two such items to any given customer.
