Authorities say a five-alarm fire
in Paterson left 40 people displaced and one woman dead Sunday morning.
It started in a home
on Summer Street, then spread to other buildings nearby.
Authorities say
Felicia Hernandez De La Cruz, of Paterson, was pronounced deceased on the
scene.
Two firefighters
were also injured.
The Red Cross is helping nine families find temporary housing.
The cause of the
fire is under investigation.
