A storm system that could bring heavy amounts of rain is expected to pass through New Jersey late Friday night.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that this storm could cause localized road flooding because of the amount of rain that is expected.
The heavy rain should begin around 9 p.m. or 10 p.m., with the majority of the rain coming around midnight. Curren says that most of the rain will be along the coastline of the state. The heavy rain should end by around 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. on Saturday.
This storm may also produce some thunder and lightning and windy conditions.
Curren says that while the heavy rain will move out by Saturday morning, the rest of Saturday afternoon should see cloudy skies and drizzling rain.
Sunday will see a mix of sun and clouds with a high of around 44 degrees.
Monday should see partly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the low- to mid-40s.
