It was an unusual day at a Jersey City high school Thursday as a series of events lead to the arrest of a female student.
Officials say students at Snyder High School were forced to evacuate after an unknown person sprayed pepper spray in the school library. During the evacuation to the middle school gym next door, a brawl ensued leading to the arrest of one female who allegedly struck a police officer.
"In our science class, we were in the window and we just saw a fight broke out with boys,? said student Inderia Jones. ?They were jumping each other."
Four students needed medical attention from the pepper spray, one student was arrested and another arrest is expected pending an investigation of who sprayed the pepper spray in the library.
