Three people were hurt after two cars collided Friday in Newark's First Ward.
Police say the crash happened in the area of South Orange Avenue and South 10th Street.
According to investigators, responding officers found a pedestrian that had been struck as a result of the crash. Both drivers were also injured.
All three were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The security gate of a nearby business sustained minor damage in the crash.
