Looking for a fun-loving best friend to join your household? Meet Angus, a sweet three-year-old Hound mix currently waiting for his forever home through St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison.

Originally hailing from Alabama, Angus is happy to be in New Jersey for a fresh start. He has wasted no time gaining the love and devotion of shelter staff and volunteers alike, winning hearts everywhere he goes with his sweet personality and happy spirit.

Angus has spent time patiently waiting both in the shelter and in a foster home, where he proved to be a complete star. His foster family shared several adorable highlights about his personality: Angus loves to snuggle, is adorably inquisitive, and even runs with a signature little hop. He entertains himself independently with toys, enjoys watching TV, and loves going on car rides. On top of that, he excelled with house and crate training during his foster stay.

This enthusiastic and social pup is great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other animals. Because of his active and upbeat nature, shelter staff say an energetic family would be the ideal setup for him. Whether playing with doggy friends or curling up for a study in TV watching, this 10-out-of-10 boy is ready to bring endless joy to his adoptive family.
