Four-year-old shepherd mix Jennie has been the perfect houseguest in her foster home and is ready to move in with her forever family.
Volunteers at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison describe her as easygoing and calm, and ready to have a blast in playgroups with her other furry friends.
She walks beautifully on a leash, takes treats gently and is ready for all of the pets and attention either out and about or on a cozy night in.
Anyone interested in adopting Jennie can apply through St. Hubert's online application or come out to their adoption tailgate event with the New York Jets Saturday, Oct. 25.
Former New York Jets players Tony Richardson and Quincy Enunwa will sign autographs and meet fans at the shelter at 575 Woodland Ave. from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Adoption fees will be waived for pets 5 months and older from 1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
For more information on adoptions or Saturday's Adoption Tailgate Event, you can visit the St. Hubert's website here.
