Ever since being taken in by Jersey Girls Animal rescue, Bogey has earned a reputation for being a charmer.
Volunteers at the shelter describe him as being affectionate and loving. Originally found as a stray in Newark, Bogey loves being around people.
"He does well with dogs but we think he would do best with a more chill and laid-back doggy friend," according to his profile on the animal rescue's website. "Bogey has also done fine with the cat in his foster home." Rescue worker say Bogey loves to lean on his people and roll over for belly rubs. He will need a family that can work with him on his training. He's still learning some manners, volunteers say, but an environment with structure and daily exercise would be ideal. Jersey Girl says he also has "some separation anxiety" so an environment where the owners are home for most of the day would be best.
