At just 2 years old, Willow is quiet, friendly, loyal and ready to find a new home.

Now being cared for by volunteers at Heart and Soul Dog Rescue, Willow is shy at first, but very gentle.

"She is a smart and quiet soul, always eager to please and ready to give you her gentle paw and a listening ear," heart and Soul Dog Rescue said on its website.

Willow has some scarring around her mouth and volunteers believe it may be from having her mouth taped shut. She also may have been malnourished when she first arrived at the rescue, but today, she's healthy and affectionate.

Willow is also currently healing from a condition known as "cherry eye." The condition happens when a dog's tear glands become swollen an covers part of their eyes. Today, however, she's well on her way to recovery. She's also crate trained, spayed and fully vaccinated.

For more information on meeting and adopting Willow, visit the Heart and Soul Dog Rescue website.
