Paterson woman charged with arson in Tuesday morning house fire

A Paterson woman is facing charges for allegedly setting fire to a vacant home on Pearl Street Tuesday morning.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says that 29-year-old Erin Micco started a fire inside of 13 Pearl St. around 8:30 a.m. The fire also caused damage to the home next door. But officials say that no one was hurt.
Micco was charged with two counts of aggravated arson and is expected to face a judge on Wednesday. If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison.
Anyone who may have additional information about the fire is asked to call the prosecutor’s tip line at 1-877-370-PCPO or call the Paterson Police Department at 973-321-1111.
