A Paterson girl with special needs was able to meet a new friend – a puppy named Rocky.

Romana Lopez is 9 years old. She had open-heart surgery when she was two months old and has cerebral palsy.

Rocky’s previous owner was no longer able to take care of him, so she gave him to Paterson Animal Control.
