Passaic County has opened its first mega vaccination site at the former Model's Sporting Goods store on Route 46 in Woodland Park.

County health officer Charlene Gungil says they have the capacity to vaccinate 1,200 people a day, depending on the amount of shots they actually have.

"I just want to remind people, we can only vaccinate with the vaccines that we are receiving,” says Gungil. “Passaic County would really like to have as many vaccines as we possibly can, but it is dependent on what the state receives."

The vaccination site is administering the Moderna vaccine, which requires a second dose after 28 days.
