Prosecutors: Palisades Park woman arrested after toddler suffers serious burns at day care

A woman from Palisades Park is facing charges for child endangerment after a toddler at a day care was badly burned, according to Bergen County prosecutors.
Authorities say Ann Zheng, 24, neglected a toddler in her care at Dearest Angel Child Care in Palisades Park.
According to prosecutors, an investigation revealed Zheng’s neglect led to the child sustaining serious burns to his body on March 28.
Zheng was arrested Monday in Palisades Park and charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. She was taken to Bergen County Jail for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
