All lanes and exit 13A ramp reopened Monday morning on I-287 northbound in Bridgewater after an accident involving three tractor-trailers shut down several lanes.
New Jersey State Police say troopers responded to the crash at 3:51 a.m. on I-287 North milepost 13.2 in Bridgewater. One of the tractor-trailers stopped moving on the interstate, a second tractor trailer hit it and overturned, and a third tractor-trailer crashed into the back.
News 12 New Jersey was told one of the drivers was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
