Firefighters were called back to the scene of an overnight fire in Fairfield after it rekindled early Sunday afternoon.
The initial fire happened at a commercial building on Ray Place around 2:45 a.m.
A News 12 viewer sent a drone video of the two-story structure as it burned. Crews were on the scene for hours until the flames were quelled.
There were no injuries.
The fire, however, reignited around 2 p.m. The structure was total loss as the building collapsed.
Investigators said the building housed a truck repair shop and some offices on the second floor.
The property management website say four businesses were located at the building: American Air Systems, DoDo Logistics, Complete Garages and Family Van lines.
The building was in a residential area surrounded by some homes. There was no damage to the surrounding homes.
The building remained blocked off with police tape as of Sunday night.
