Police are looking for three people who they say stole over $56,000 worth of clothing during a theft ring targeting Lululemon and Alo stores in Brooklyn and Manhattan in eight separate incidents.

Sources close to the investigation say all of the incidents happened during store hours.

Three stores were targeted in Brooklyn. Police say a Lululemon in Williamsburg was hit twice. Police say all the thefts happened between Feb. 7 and March 3.

Authorities say the thieves stole clothing from display cases at all the locations. During the most recent theft at the 97 North 6th St. Lululemon, the trio got away with $21,000 worth of clothing.

No one was injured during the thefts, according to police. Shoppers like Tamara Downey say she's shocked.

“This area in general is not really the place for that stuff either, so I am quite surprised," said Downey.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
